1. What eTuition does

eTuition connects parents with independent, verified teachers for private holiday tutoring at home or online. Teachers are not employees of eTuition.

2. Teacher checks

We check each teacher’s TSC registration, national ID and passport photo before they are shown to parents. Parents should still supervise lessons and report any concern immediately.

3. Booking and payment

Parents pay through eTuition by M-Pesa after a teacher accepts. A booking fee of KES 200 applies. We hold the payment and release it to the teacher after the parent confirms the lessons.

4. Our promise

If a teacher does not show up, the parent gets a refund for the missed lessons. If a parent is not happy with the fit, we will try to find a replacement teacher at no extra cost.

5. Paying outside eTuition

Arranging payment outside eTuition for a family or teacher you met here is not allowed. Teachers who do this may be removed. Payments made outside eTuition are not covered by our promise.

6. Teachers

Teachers confirm their details are true, keep their profile and availability up to date, arrive on time, and log each lesson. eTuition keeps a commission of 20% of the lesson fees, or 10% when a family books the same teacher again.

7. Safety

Anyone can report a problem from the booking page. We review reports the same day and may suspend accounts while we check.
